The start is slow this year.
Winter’s freeze lingered far too long….
But now, spring is here.
And the work has begun.
Gently, we pick up the pieces,
And emerge from our winter hibernation.
For now, it is time to thaw,
Following winter’s heavy snow.
The winter was cold,
And as the dreary weather grew old,
My motivation was low,
And writing was slow.
But now,
Spring has Sprung.
The air begins to warm,
And my flowers have started to grow.
It is time for some cleaning,
Airing the room,
And opening our hearts and minds,
To the ideas of something new.
So, as we clean out our spaces,
Let us air out our minds, too.
And begin to embrace the beauty,
Of embracing something new.
